Ascentron offers complete circuit assembly and Box Build testing services with Flying Probe Test, In-Circuit Test (ICT)/Manufacturing Defect Analysis (MDA) testing, and simple to complex functional testing.

We provide in-house Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) testing for many Aviation and Military Customers as well as customers in other industries.

We use a SPEA 4020 for our flying probe test needs. The SPEA 4020 is an excellent solution for complex PCBAs from prototype and low volume production up to some medium volume projects. No test fixtures are required and all test programming is done in-house.

We use a Checksum MDA test platform for those customers who want an In-Circuit (ICT) test. The Checksum platform allows Ascentron to provide comprehensive ICT MDA testing for printed circuit assemblies at a fraction of the tooling and programming costs associated with traditional ICT testers. We also use Keysight’s touch-less IC probing TestJet technology in our fixtures.

We use custom functional testers for many of our customers’ products final testing. Customers often provide these testers for our test group to use and they can be used in conjunction with our standard test equipment. In some cases we are able to recommend improvements to functional testers which improve coverage or increase efficiencies. We can also help design and build functional test solutions for some customer projects.

We use a Thermotron Model SE-1000-10-10-RACE for our customers’ ESS testing needs. This unit has a temperature range of -100 degree F to 355 degree F (-73 degree C to 180 degree C).
